We visited Petra today.
The walk from the hotel to the Treasury is 2 miles downhill, so the
return is 2 miles uphill! Ask Marlene about the walk. The path is
called “The Siq.” The views are
dramatic, and as always I take too many photos.
Friday (today) we leave at 11:00 PM for the airport from Amman to
Frankfort, and from there to Chicago. It
will be a looong day/night, so probably no more posting until we’ve been home
for a few days, lucky you.
