While recovering Saturday morning from our Croatian/Italian trip we saw that the KLM Dutch Open (golf for those who don't know and probably don't care) was being played this weekend.  We checked and learned that it was only about an hour away, so that was all we needed to know.  We spent an entire day in Ireland a few years ago driving to see the Irish Open.  We were at that tournement for less than an hour, but we did get to see Miguel Angel Jimenez on the practice range.  Ever since, Miguel has been one of "Sue's guys." 

So shortly after lunch we set out for the course.  It was very easy, a train ride with one change in Utrecht.  The tournement was in Hilversum, and KLM had shuttle buses waiting.  It took about an hour.  We walked around to several holes and watched a number of different players.  Sue's guy, Miguel Angel Jimenez hadn't made the cut, so that was disappointing.  We took a few pictures and returned home.

Just like at the Irish Open, there were many booths selling golf products, golf travel and non-golf products; I could have bought custom made dress shirts.  But you can't buy anything with the logo for the Dutch Open.  Apparently unlike Americans, Europeans don't like hats, shirts, golf towels, etc. with show they were at the Dutch Open in 2012.  This might be a business oportunity.  I could be a job creator.
