More building photos
The Amsterdam History Museum has an ornate entrance. I emailed the museum for a translation of the inscription. My guess is that the entrance may have been from an orphanage for boys.
The second building is the old Stock Exchange. Our friend Jim recommended the cafe in the building. He described it as right out of the 1930s. We stopped by to check it out when we were out. The interior is very Art Deco, we plan to go back for lunch.
