A day out with Jim & Nanny

Jim and Nanny took us out for a day and dinner.  They took us to Hoorn, which is a lovely harbor town in the Province of North Holland.  We had a lovely day.  We stopped for a snack in a cute traditional café.  We had 'white asparagus".  I thought it would be the same as the green asparagus only you know, white.  Boy was I wrong!  This stuff was wonderful.  I don't have the ability to describe it adequately.  This day was a wonderful way to wrap our stay in Amsterdam.
