Our Amsterdam friend Jim was turning 80 this year, and his wife, Nanny asked us to come to a surprise birthday party for Jim. We of COURSE said YES!! We were contacted by another friend of Jim’s that told us they were asking all people attending the party to put together a one minute video for Jim’s birthday. So we asked our granddaughter Emily help us make our one minute video, we just took some photos, she did ALL the work. And it is WONDERFUL!!!! You can see it in the Oct 26 album if you want to skip my photos of paintings. It is the last item in the album. Although I only took a lot of painting photos on our first day in London, Oct 21. Make sure you have the audio turned on when you view the Oct 26 album. The building photo that you might not recognize in the album is the Chicago Symphony Center. Both of Jim’s parents were musicians who played in the Symphony orchestra.
We flew to London for three days Oct 21-23, then train to Amsterdam Oct 24-28 to attend Jim’s Party, back to London Oct 29-30, then fly home Oct 31. So I am I’m including all the photo albums in this one post.
