Touring Belgium

We went to Belgium to see 11 more paintings on the list of 1001 and to visit the Henri Chapelle American Military Cemetery where Sue's cousin's father is buried.  Our tour took us to 9 cities and towns and into France and Germany.  We drove 1259 km (782 miles) in four days.  We used 62.1 liters (16.4 gal) of gas that cost 108 ($140), for an average cost of $8.54/gal.  Now you know why the cars are so small.  The car averaged 47.6 miles/gal.  The motorways are like our interstates.  The road surfaces were great.  I  drove at 110-120 km/hr (65-75 miles/hr) all the time.  Thankfully we rented a GPS with the car so we didn't have any real trouble finding our way.  Sue will add posts about the museums and cities we visited.
