May 21, 2025 Amsterdam The H’ART Museum
Today we went to the H’ART Museum to see the exhibition From Rembrandt to Vermeer, Masterpieces from the Leiden Collection. This museum used to be named the Hermitage, but the name was changed after Russia invaded Ukraine. Be warned there are photos of every painting and information card in the exhibition. When you click on the link to the photo album don’t click on a painting, move down past the paintings until you see the photos of metal statues of a dog or a rat. Open one of these photos and then the photos after that are what we saw as we walked around on our way home. Nothing great, but for most everyone else, better than photos of old Dutch paintings. I left too many photos of a dog we saw on our way home.
