May 20, 2025     Amsterdam landed Tuesday afternoon

Our flight from O'Hare left late and that meant we would miss the connecting flight from Copenhagen to Amsterdam.  We had to wait 2+ hours for a connecting flight to Amsterdam.  So we arrived a few hours later, which was not a big problem.  We checked into the Grand Hotel Amrath.  This hotel is very nice, and only a few blocks from the house of our Amsterdam friends Jim & Nanny.  We will see them tomorrow.  After checking in and unpacking we went out to walk around a bit and then go to one of our regular bars to get dinner.  I did manage to take a few photos as we walked around, not very exciting, bur we are old.
