Rainy today, so we were sad to think the church picnic might be spoiled.  Takes about 30 minutes to get to the English language mass, but we can pick up the tram just outside our door.  Church was packed as usual..about 400 people.  The members are mostly from Ghana and for some reason most are young males between the ages of 25 to 40 or so.  Maybe the women are back in Ghana.  I will investigate this as time goes on. Anyway the picnic went on as planned and as you can see from the photos it was well attended.  Talked to Father Murray who is a lovely chap.  We told him we had been to his church 4 years ago and are now returning for hopefully a longer stay.
After the picnic, it was still raining, so we just came back home to watch the Wimbledon finals.
Dinner out tonight at Bier Fabriek.  I had read about this new place before we left Chicago.  A new micro brewery, they have 3 beers to choose from and their food specialty is roasted cornish hen over rocket salad with fries, of course.  Everything comes with fries and mayo.  The hen was tasty, but Ray hates to struggle with food.  On the other hand I had no problem picking up the parts and gnawing away.
