The weather finally turned lovely Friday, so we decided to talk a stroll to Vondelpark. It is a very large area with waterways, restaurants, a museum and when the weather permits hundreds of people, many of whom are on bikes. We really haven't taken any real bike pictures. Maybe Ray needs to do an album solely on the bike culture.

Anyhoo, it was great to walk around without an umbrella. Great park for a picnic, and lots of folks were doing just that. Saw a few dogs. They are a rarity in Amsterdam. After the nice stroll, came home to watch more golf. Thank goodness it is an exciting Open Championship.

Had dinner at a lovely french restaurant..Bistro Neuf. Tuna tartar, fish soup, redfish, veal and a chocolate mousse with ice cream, orange cream and topped with whipped cream. Again, thank goodness it was not too close to home. The walk back helped burn a few of those calories.
