We visited the Hermitage Museum this morning and then a
little grocery shopping and a short walk around to see if one of our favorite
restaurants was still there, and it is. So
we will go back for the mussels, they are great. We stopped by the Stopera to see if there
would be any performances when Sue’s cousin visits; there won’t be, they are
done for the season. That is when we saw
“The Fiddler” in the lobby. A little
searching turned up this article about the anonymous sculptures that have
turned up in the city. On our last trip
I photographed “The Little Man with the Saw”, but I didn’t know what it was
about. Still don’t but this is another
list that we can chase down.
There was a light rain on and off so we went back home to
rest. We do a lot of resting.
