It was a gorgeoous day today.  It wasn't sunny but the temperature was in the low 50's. It had rained all day yesterday.  We wanted to walk around and take some Christmas themed pictures.  There are many very large Christmas trees around the city.  We asked Jim where they came from and he immediately said Norway.  As you can see from the photos they are very large and lovely.  We see trees like this only in very special places back home, like the White House, Daley Plaza, Rockefeller Center.  In Amsterdam they are all over the place. We did not see any crèches.  We are going to church tomorrow night and plan to take some pictures of the decorated church.  Ray will post them later.
