We finally made it to the Kroller-Muller Museum in Otterloo.  The weather was typical for what we’ve had since we arrived: overcast with a 30-50% chance of rain.  We took a train and two buses to get to the museum that is located in the Hoge Veluwe National Park.  This may sound complicated, but it is actually pretty easy  The first bus is right outside the train station in Ede-Wageningen, and the second bus waits for the first bus to take you into the park  The only problem we had was that I had checked out our trip based on taking the 10:23 train from Amsterdam Centraal.  We actually took the 10:53.  So when arrived in Ede-Wagneningen we had to wait almost an hour for the first bus.  So we walked around town to kill time.  There was a windmill of course.  The houses near the station where we walked were big single family houses and very nice.  The part of the town that we saw from the bus was also pretty nice.

After we arrived at the museum we decided to see the sculpture park because it wasn’t raining.  We shouldn’t have said that.  After a few minutes in the park it started to sprinkle very lightly, but we decided to press on.  The sculpture park is yuuuge!  It has over 177 items as shown on the map that I posted in the album.  I photographed 47.  

We had visited this museum back in 2012 because it has one painting on the 1001 list, “The Cyclops” by Odilon Redon.  I took just a few photos in the Museum, I put too many comments on the photos.  We took our two buses and a train back to Amsteredam.  From Centraal we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Il Primo for pizza.  Their Neapolitan thin crust (what other kind is there?) is excellent.  Then we went home and watched Wales beat Belgium.  It was actually a pretty good game to watch.
