Oct 8m 2024 The British Library & the Portrait Gallery
The British Library has a permanent exhibit, the Treasures of the Library. We of course have visited before, but the displays are changed periodically. The photos only give you an idea of some of the displays. There were more displays, but I didn't want to bore you more than I already do.
The next stop was back to the Portrait Gallery, I took photos of famous people, and an artist I recognized. Then we stopped for lunch on the way home. Tomorrow we are off in the morning to Dublin & Belfast for 5 days. Then we fly back to Manchester to see two 1001 paintings! I forgot to mention that we will see a Caravaggio in Dublin.
