We got out of the house around noon and. We went to the London Eye because this is one
thing that Joan really wanted to do on this trip. Sue and I have been on the Eye, so we waited
while Bob and Joan took the ride. Then
we took a boat ride to the Tower of London to see the Poppy Installation. Today there were volunteers installing
poppies. We then headed back toward our
area to get lunch. The restaurant that
we wanted to go to was closed! We had
been there just a couple of weeks ago.
So we went to a pub that we had been to before. Now after lunch we all are ready to take a
nap. Maybe we’ll catch our second wind
and go out later, but for now this is it.
