We’ve moved into new apartment Friday and it is nicer than the first apartment.  It is not as conveniently located as the last place, but it is just a bus ride away from the last place.  The biggest shortcoming is that there isn’t a store 100 ft away that has cold beer, but we’ll manage.  There is church around the corner, about a three minute walk.  We will see shortly how it compares to the 35-40 minute speed masses we’ve gotten used to.

We knocked off painting #476 at the Guildhall Gallery today.  Wedding photos were being taken in the courtyard of the Guildhall, so I took one myself.  You may notice that ladies hats are big in Britain.  Tomorrow we are off to Royal Holloway College to see a painting in the Founder’s Building that is only open to the public ONE day a year.  We are just lucky to be here on that day.  We have another viewing of a painting on Tuesday, so Monday we’ll just get used to being back in London.  Maybe we’ll go back to the Tower of London to see how the poppy display is coming, and maybe track down some more Blue Plaques.  Bob (Sue’s cousin) and Joan are arriving Wednesday.  We always have a good time with them.  Sue is already planning which restaurants we’ll be trying.

I’m leaving the dog photo at the top of the blog because we both like it so much.
