It has been a long day.  Up at 6:00, Euro Star at 8:30 for a two hour train ride, drop the luggage at the hotel and then off to the museums at 12:30.  We got back to check in at the hotel at 18:30, and we are tired.  The quest for the paintings didn’t go quite as well as I’d hoped.  Irreguardless, we did see five paintings on the list, just not eight as I'd hoped.  One painting at the Louvre was in a room that was closed today and two paintings: one at the Pompidou and one at the de la Ville de Paris were just not on display.  The closed room at the Louvre is open tomorrow, so we’ll see if we go back to see it before we catch our train to Basel.  The weather in Paris was beautiful today, it was in the high 60s and sunny, so we had a late lunch at an outdoor café.  It really doesn’t’ get much better than that.
