Feb 11 2024, The Santa Eulàlia Festival
I should add that the Santa Eulàlia Festival had many other events happening starting on Feb 9th at many different locations. These included events for children, concerts, dances, etc. We were interested in the Giants and Figures. On Sunday the 11th there was a march of the figures to Plaҫa de Santa Jaume, where we’ve ended up the first two days. The march started about noon and it would include the Giants and the St Eulalia Entourage. We joined the march after it started. I took photos as we walked with the Giants, Figures and many, many other people. When we got to Plaҫa de Santa Jaume there were many people already there, and more people, Giants and Figures continued to arrive. You can see from the photos that there were many Giants and Figures. After all the Giants and Figures arrived the Giants and Figures would take turns dancing to music. We had seen this before so we went back home.
