Feb 22, 2024 Cementiri de Poblenou – The Kiss of Death
Steve and Hannah were going to visit a cemetery to see a sculpture, so we went along. It was quite a walk to the Cementiri de Poblenou. You can see from the photos that the graves are located in structures that allow the ‘graves’ to be stacked up to about seven graves high. There are movable ladders that enable relatives to be able to put flowers on all the higher grave levels. Steve located the sculpture “The Kiss of Death.” Sue offered that it was worth the walk to see it. Steve and Hannah were going to walk along the waterfront back to the central Barcelona, and then continue to do whatever was next on Steve’s list. We took a bus back to our apartment to rest up after our adventure. We will see if we hook up with Steve and Hannah for dinner this evening.
For dinner we went back to The Dunes Irish Bar for dinner. Steve and Hannah joined us later for a drink.
