Happy Anniversary Ray and Sue.  46 wonderful years.

Went to St. Peter’s today.  We were surprised how short the wait was to get in.  The square is huge of course.  You all have seen pictures. 

We remember the last time we were here the lines to get in were huge.  Now there is security and maybe that has somehow made the entrance smoother.  Who knows.

We spent hours in there.  Ray took multiple pictures.  Parts were roped off, but the place is impressive.  Ray has not curated the pictures, but will post them anyway.  Eventually captions will be added.  Maybe, our next anniversary.

Only one church has been picky about the appropriate dress in the churches, and that was in the Capuchin Church, and it really wasn’t a church.  I usually wear my black shirt to churches and take along my portrait scarf to cover my shoulders.  I just follow the rules, just in case we encounter someone enforcing the rules.  I love that scarf anyway.

Had a nice dinner at a restaurant near the apartment to celebrate the day.  Good pasta, simply prepared veal and small portions.  Perfect.
