It’s Saturday, and we don’t have anything special
planned. Lots of commotion down the
street, so we investigated. An
antifascism demonstration apparently. We
took a few pictures and left. Had some
laundry to do, a little shopping and writing on the blog. Gonna do a church crawl later. We went to the Chiesa del Gesu to see the
tomb of St. Roberto Bellarmino and a statue of St. Ignatius that is revealed at
17:30 when the painting on the altar is lowered (according to a web site). Well the movable picture isn’t working, we
weren’t the only ones asking about it, and the tomb was in another church, St.
Ignatius that wasn’t too far away, so of course we went. St. Roberto Bellarmino, a Doctor of the
Church is the guy who had Fra Bruno burned at the stake in Campo Fiori that we
visited on the 16th.
