We did go out for a walk to one of our favorite spots along
the Amstel River. There are benches
where we sit and watch all the Amsterdamers out in their boats, along with all
the tour boats. We stopped by a HEMA
store to buy more butter cookies so I could add a photo to the blog. We also bought some more snacks, but I’m not
showing all of those because I don’t want to make you jealous. I had the sugar/Belgian waffles this morning
before I could take a photo. Maybe
tomorrow, but I think you know what a Belgian waffle looks like.
