We went out around noon today for a walk, this is relatively
early for us. We stopped at the
Amsterdam City Museum to buy our museum passes.
They are good for just about every museum and gallery (now including the Anne
Frank House) in the Netherlands. We make
good use of the card. We went by the
Pozenboot, a sanctuary for stray cats in a canal boat. Then we went to the Amsterdam Bibliotheek
(library) because Jim told us that they have a restaurant on the top floor with
great views of Amsterdam. And he was
right. We split a sandwich and relaxed
for a bit before waking home. We may go
out again because it is another beautiful day here. I may start checking out nearby museums for
paintings to substitute for 1001 paintings in private collections or not.
