Today was our laundry day, "ours" in that I
contributed dirty cloths. Sue mastered
the washer/dryer combination and I guess it does a decent job, but it takes
some time. We had to look up the
instructions on the internets as the control panel is in Dutch. The wash cycle took 2.5 hours and she set the
dryer for 1.5 hours for synthetics, and the load was basically dry. We went out to visit the Stedelijk Museum
when she started the dryer cycle. The
Stedelijk has modern and contemporary art.
The museum has paintings by artists on our list that are in Private
Collections. So we were hopeful that we
might find a few substitutes to count against our list. We found one definite substitute and perhaps
a couple more. You can see my comments
in the photo album. That has been our
day so far, but we may go back out later.
