A very nice day in Amsterdam,
sunny and warm. As usual we didn’t get
going until after lunch. A quick trip to
the grocery store and then off to see the special exhibit at the Royal
Palace. The Palace is a beautiful
building. After the Palace we went to
the Café Belgique. It is one of our
favorite places. It is one of the
smallest pubs in Amsterdam. It is
located on a small alley between two main streets. You sit outside on benches and just people
watch, and of course drink beer. The café
specializes in Belgium beer. My current
favorite is La Chouffe. After this
hectic day we are back home to watch the World Cup (Germany just scored). We are going to pick up Sue’s cousin Judy at
the airport at 21:00, so of course we have to rest.
