We had a busy Friday, but I just had to post a quick note about the “lightning storm” we had last night.  I was awakened about 2:00 AM by the constant flashes of lightning.  It was windy and raining pretty hard which is not unusual.  The CONSTANT flashes of lightning was something we had never experienced before.  The thunder wasn’t very loud but the lighting was constant.  We can look out in three dictions and the lightning was everywhere.  After 15-20 minutes we went back to bed while the storm continued.  It was an amazing and awe inspiring experience.  Don’t despair, I’ll post too many photos from Haarlem tomorrow.
