Wednesday April 25, 2018            posting April 13 & 14 Andorra-Carcassonne-Lascaux (2 of 2 posts today)

This will be hard to believe, but I have no photos from Andorra and Carcassonne!  The drive up to Andorra and back down to Carcassonne took about nine hours.  We picked up a couple of souvenirs in Andorra and then headed for Carcassonne.  My cold or allergies got worse through the day and the road up and down didn’t provide many stopping places to take more photos of the mountains.  From Wikipedia: Carcassonne, a hilltop town in southern France’s Languedoc area, is famous for its medieval citadel, La Cité, with numerous watchtowers and double-walled fortifications. The first walls were built in Gallo-Roman times, with major additions made in the 13th and 14th centuries.
The old city walls are impressive, but I just wasn’t up to going out and taking photos.  We didn’t even go out to eat if you can imagine that.  We are going out to eat now.  Tomorrow there will be photos.
